About Lindsey Bakke

Lindsey Bakke writes science fiction and fantasy when adulting gets exhausting and she needs a break from reality. A veteran who has worked with animals and traveled widely with the U.S. Navy and other branches she was attached to, she draws on stories found on the road and on experiences that only come when you're far from the safety of home. When she isn't writing, her hands are usually full with dogs, horses, and coffee.

She believes a book can ease the stress of everyday life and spark change, hope, and a sense of freedom — simply by reading. That's work worth doing.
